Chief Justice of India Surya Kant emphasized the development of "Swadeshi jurisprudence," advocating for an indigenous AI ecosystem in the judiciary. He stated that the Supreme Court views technology as an aid to human reasoning, not a replacement for independent judicial thought, stressing the importance of Indian constitutional values, institutional realities, linguistic diversity, and social conditions.
