The National Sickle Cell Anaemia Elimination Mission (NSCAEM) is a flagship government initiative launched in 2023 with the ambitious goal of eliminating Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) as a public health problem in India by 2047, focusing primarily on tribal populations.
