Aids loco pilots by automatically applying brakes if they fail to do so, and helps trains run safely within specified speed limits and during inclement weather.

National Adoption

Adopted as the National ATP system in July 2020.

Deployment Status

Successfully commissioned on 2490 Route Kilometres as of July 2026, covering high-density Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Howrah routes.
